Querrin holds a fairy fort, an earthen ringfort that likely predates human memory or at least defies modern reason. Its banks rise without warning in County Clare, marking a boundary where ordinary law thins and imagination thickens. People may have lived there, feared there or simply avoided the place because it felt occupied. The earth remembers shapes long after names disappear.
