Promontory fort stands on a Cork coastal cliff, building human presence into the raw edge where land stops and sea begins. Its stones mark a time when people watched weather, tide and distance from above, turning exposure into advantage. The ocean still moves around that old line, keeping the shape alive in salt and light.
