What is recorded here
No visible chamber remains in Ardihannon, only a forgotten point on an old survey and the possibility that giant stones once stood there. The absence does not remove the tomb; it returns the tomb to the region where human life first became visible through stone.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as POSSIBLE MEGALITHIC TOMB (O.S. memoir site; unlocated). Recorded period: PREHISTORIC. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
