Graveslab in Portlecka is a worn stone fragment lying upright against the south wall of Ruan church, preserving a faint Latin cross on its east face. It is not a display trophy but a buried body made visible again, probably moved when the church changed or the ground failed. The cross still rises above the damage, suggesting the dead were marked with pride even when the town forgot their names.
