Graveslab in Portlecka lies recumbent near the centre of Ruan church, its top broken away and only the shaft of a raised Latin cross remaining along the centre. The slab measures 0.92m long, 0.47m wide at the top, 0.4m wide at the base and 0.07m thick, with no evidence of an inscription. It may have marked a burial whose name vanished before the stone itself, leaving a cross pointing upward through forgetfulness.
