Graveslab in Portlecka

Graveslab

What is recorded here

Graveslab in Portlecka lies recumbent in the SE corner of Ruan Church, a trapezoidal stone with a plain raised Latin cross and chamfered edges. It has no inscription, and its base is broken away at an angle, hiding the name of the person it marked. The slab still occupies the church corner like a forgotten participant in every prayer spoken above it.
