What is recorded here

Enclosure in Perssepark is a degraded subcircular scarp in Galway grassland, measured sixty-five by fifty-five metres, with a ringfort sleeping one hundred metres to the south-east. It may have been a farmyard, a boundary marker or a forgotten gathering place, but the earth has smoothed most of its purpose away. What remains is a shallow breath of shape, large enough to walk around and quiet enough to disappear when rain softens the grass.

In grassland. Marked on 3rd ed. of OS 6-inch map (1946) as a subcircular enclosure. All that survives is a very poorly preserved subcircular area (E-W c. 65m, N-S c. 55m) defined by a degraded scarp.
