Situated on a low rise of ground in gently undulating countryside. No surface remains visible. Only the E half of a circular enclosure is depicted on the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map and not on subsequent editions. Annotated as a 'Fort' on the 1837 OS Fair plan map.
