Trinity Well stands in a Kildare field as a small vaulted stone chamber where pilgrims have drunk lucky water on Trinity Sunday for generations. The modest pool sits beside a grazing stream, its red-brick doorway and unstable roof marking a living ritual rather than a polished monument. Local tradition even claims the River Boyne begins here, a boast that defies common sense yet suits the well’s quiet pride.

Located at the crest of a SE-facing slope. This is annotated as ‘Trinity Well’ in gothic script on the 1836 and 1908 editions of the OS 6-inch map, but nothing is known about it.
