Situated in a low-lying wet field with a stream and moated site (TN011-028001) c. 10m to the NNE. A low long mound (dims. 3m x 2.2m; 0.4m H) aligned roughly E-W. Though grass-covered there is some stone within the mound. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary. Vol. 1 - North Tipperary' compiled by Jean Farrelly and Caimin O'Brien (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2002).
