Outrath holds a buried chamber where human remains lay beneath large water-rolled pebbles. A bulldoer opened that chamber in 1981 while preparing a farm for a silage pit, destroying the evidence needed to judge whether the stones marked death, memory or something else. The violence of discovery removed the very thing that might have been understood.

Human remains were discovered in 1981 during bulldozing on a farm in Outrath in advance of the construction of a silage pit. The burials appear to have been extended and covered by a layer of large water-rolled pebbles. As the site was completely disturbed, the association of the stones and the burials is not clear.
