Terraced two-bay two-storey house, built c.1830, having single and two-storey extensions to rear. Pitched fibre-cement slate roof with concrete skew to south-east verge of rear elevation and replacement uPVC rainwater goods throughout. Overhanging eaves supported by paired carved timber brackets to front façade. Painted ruled-and-lined smooth render walls to front, smooth finished cement render to south-east gable and rear elevation. Rusticated block-and-start render quoins to façade. Moulded render surrounds to square-headed first floor window openings with one-over-one pane timber sliding sash frames with ogee horns and painted stone sills. Ground floor window has three-centred arch-headed recess to window and to doorway, former being square-headed and similar to first floor windows, and doorway having spoked fanlight and four-panel timber door framed by fluted pilasters supporting moulded timber entablature, and approached by carved sandstone step. Wrought-iron railings on low stone plinth to front of buildings.

Part of the original terrace built in this location to frame the entrance to the Hope (Blayney) Castle estate, this building features close attention to classical proportion and symmetry on the façade. Coupled with retention of historic fabric this structure contributes to the genteel character of Market Square.
