Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Onagh, County Roscommon, Ireland. It appears only on the 1837 Ordnance Survey 6-inch map as a circular embanked enclosure about 35m across on a slight knoll. The surviving circular area measures 22m north-south and 20m east-west, bounded by a low scarp 0.1 to 0.5m high that shows in cut cereal crop.
Marked only on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 35m), and situated on a slight knoll in an undulating landscape. Circular area (diam. 22m N-S; 20m E-W) defined by a slight scarp (H 0.1-0.5m) visible in a cut cereal crop. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
