Marian and Denyse climbed the Burren ridge at dawn, mapping the hidden valley where ancient roads still cut through grass. They reached the oval hut before noon, its shallow wall footing barely visible beneath clover and goat droppis. Marian sketched the chamber while Denyse listened for water moving under the limestone. When they left the valley at dusk, the path had vanished behind a wall of white cloud.

On level ground in an area of grass and karst limestone in rough pasture, within a large multiperiod field system (CL009-059001-), with a shallow N-S ravine c. 45m to the W. An oval platform (7.4m E-W; 5.2m N-S) with traces of a wall-footing (Wth 0.8-0.9m; int. H 0.1-0.2m; ext. H 0.2-0.4m) at N and S.
