What is recorded here

Not inidcated is a re-used stone head set high in the south wall of an 18th century church in County Meath, Ireland. It came from the medieval church, was broken or taken from its old meaning, and was made into a marker or decoration in the newer building. The place is small, but it records a common Irish act: to take a fragment from a lost church and give it a second life.
