Children's burial ground in Newtown (scarawalsh By., Kilbora Ed) is a children's burial ground in Newtown (scarawalsh By., Kilbora Ed), County Wexford, Ireland. Situated in a slight hollow on a gentle east-facing slope just outside Ferns village and immediately on the west side of a southeast-northwest road, the site is associated with a local tradition that children were buried in the southeast corner of the field. Nothing is visible at ground level, and archaeological testing in the north part of the field immediately to the south failed to produce any related material.
Situated in a slight hollow on a gentle E-facing slope just outside Ferns village and immediately on the W side of a SE-NW road. There is a local tradition that children were buried in the SE corner of the field, but nothing is visible at ground level. Archaeological testing (18E0335) in the N part of the field immediately to the S failed to produce any related material (McLoughlin 2018; excavations.ie 2018:053).
