What is recorded here
Outlined is a ritual pond in County Meath, Ireland, marked on the first edition of the OS 6-inch map. Tom Condit identified the site, while Caimin O'Brien compiled the information in November 2013. The pond may have served ceremonial purposes, though no surviving account describes the rites performed there. Water stands at the centre of every ritual, and Outlined still holds that shape on the land.
Possible ritual pond site identified by Tom Condit. Depicted as a pond feature on the first edition of the OS 6-inch map.
