Barra, Castlebay stands as a recorded farmstead in Na h-Eileanan Siar, Scotland, marked only by a point accurate to ten metres. The name suggests a castle never built, a bay that imagines stone towers where only grass and memory remain. Whoever farmed there lived inside that false grandeur, measuring days against a phantom fortress.
