Indicated is a grass-covered ringfort on a Monaghan drumlin, its thirty-four-metre circle marked by an earthen bank and hedge rather than a dug ditch. The earth rose instead of being cut, as if the land simply bulged around a hidden purpose. A modern gate at the southwest leads into a farmyard, inviting people to walk through the middle of that ancient shape.

Situated just off the crest of the SE-facing slope of a drumlin. This is a raised circular grass-covered area (diam. 34m N-S; 32m E-W) defined by an earthen bank or scarp and hedge with some trees, but there is no evidence of a fosse. A modern gate at SW leading to a farmyard is the only entrance. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Monaghan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1986).
