What is recorded here

Mullanarockan holds a narrow, upright stone marked with three deep cups, now buried beside a graveyard wall in Tedavnet rather than standing where it belonged. Two cups are broken at the edges, as if the stone struck another hard surface before people carried it across the land. It is not a tomb marker for a named dead person, but a fragment of older human life, moved into a place where memory still passes it like water over rock.

Situated in Tedavnet graveyard (MO006-022002-) c. 5m W of the wall displaying the memorial of Richard Robinson (MO006-022005-), but this is not likely to be its original location. A stone which is set up like a headstone (dims of base 0.83m x 7-8cm H 0.7m) has three cup-marks (diam. 11-15cm; D 2-4m), two of which are damaged at the edges of the stone.
