In pasture, on a level terrace and within a field system (SL038-110005-). A roughly oval area (24m NE-SW; c. 19m NW-SE) defined S-W by a stony scarp (H 0.7m) and W-S by the remains of a wall (Wth 8m; H 0.25m) which is barely discernible E-S. Traces of field walls radiate to SE, SW and NE. There is a hut site (SL038-110013-) 2m to NW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Sligo' compiled by Ursula Egan, Elizabeth Byrne, Mary Sleeman with Sheila Ronan and Connie Murphy (Dublin Stationery Office, 2005).
