What is recorded here

Indicated is a fairy fort in County Mayo, Ireland. Its earthen bank still stands one metre high around a circular pasture, marking a place where human hands shaped the land before memory faded. The missing underground passage hints that the site may have hidden more than stone, perhaps a chamber for storage, ritual or descent into darkness.

In pasture, on NW-facing slope. Roughly circular area (41m N-S; 36m E-W), enclosed by substantial earthen bank (H 1m), with external fosse (D 0.5m) W to N. Gap in bank to NE (Wth 2.2m).
