Showers in Mostragee make the graveyard plates glow like wet black mirrors. People dropped marbles, coins and ring pieces into the grass, believing the dead kept what the living let go. The basin still holds every forgotten thing ever surrendered to it. Gravity there works both ways: it takes small losses and returns them changed, brighter, or remembered in dreams.
