What is recorded here
Mornane held a Killeen in 1657, but that name has vanished along with the exact burial ground itself. The loss is not merely factual; it is a warning about how quickly human memory can be erased. What is forgotten may still exist beneath ordinary soil, waiting for someone to stop trusting certainty and begin listening for the shape of what disappeared.
According to Westropp (1904-5, 388) 'a "Killeen" remained in 1657, but is now forgotten'. Exact location not known.
