In reclaimed pasture, on SSE-facing slope. Square area (40m NNE-SSW; 39m WSW-ENE) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.3m; ext. H 1.7m) with external fosse (D 0.8m); field boundary skirts fosse on NNW and N sides. Break in bank to S, W and at NE corner; break to NE and W used as access for farm machinery. Fosse flat-bottomed and waterlogged; from SW corner, leat extends S across field. Interior slopes down gently to SSE; barely perceptible rise noted at centre. Listed by Barry (1981, 83, no. 41).
