What is recorded here

Milltown holds a circular platform twelve metres wide on a drumlin summit, nested beside an old rath and hidden beneath coniferous trees. The flat disc may have supported a hut where someone watched the ridge or waited for company. Its small height and remote position suggest a quiet life lived above the ordinary fields.
Located on one of the summits of an E-W drumlin ridge and planted with coniferous trees. There is a circular platform (diam. 12m N-S; 12m E-W) H 0.3m) just W of the centre of rath (MO018-034----) that could be a hut-site. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 18 June 2018
