Castlelaw is a twentieth-century boundary stone set in Midlothian, marking the edge of the Castlelaw and Dreghorn Training Area. It stands among older fort remains and firing ranges, where military use and ancient settlement still share the same ground. The small stone does more than separate land; it reminds people that even a closed training field belongs to a longer human story.

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Castlelaw as Boundary Stone (20th Century). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
