Castle Law is a medieval rig and furrow field in Midlothian, Scotland, where curved ridges still mark the ground. The law is not a castle or a boundary, though people may have imagined it so when they first walked the rising earth. It is a farm field shaped byrepetition, preserved because nobody covered it with roads or houses.

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Castle Law as Rig and Furrow (medieval) - (post Medieval). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
