In a valley overlooking a small stream. Excavated in 2007 in advance of the N9/N10 Kilcullen to Waterford road improvement scheme (Licence no. E3616). A rectangular trough (2.05m x 1.65m x 0.65m) with adjacent lines of post-holes, several associated pits, and a furnace represented a possible area of metalworking. Elements of a flat cemetery lie immediately to the N and S (KK023-155----). (Jennings 2009; 2010, 244-5, 919)
