Troopersland in County Antrim held a prehistoric burial ground where huge stones may have marked the resting places of the dead. The exact spot has slipped from modern knowledge, leaving behind a ghost of a chamber rather than a visible ruin. People may have gathered there to honour ancestors under open sky, their voices fading long before written records appeared.
