Rathardan

Rathardan is a Mayo ringfort near Ballysakeery whose southern bank still stands nearly two metres high, while gorse and blackthorn have erased much of the rest. It looks east across pasture toward the River Moy, with two other raths visible in the distance and a small unexplained hollow inside its circuit. The ground keeps that much of itself back, offering a shape rather than a final answer.
