In rough hill pasture, on the W bank of a river, on a W-facing slope, overlooking the valley of Lough Inchiquin. A D-shaped mound (straight N side: 5.4m E-W; 5m N-S) of burnt material. The river has eroded the base of the mound along the E side. The highest part of the mound is at N (H 1.3m) and it slopes down to the S. Relict field boundaries (KE101-071----) lie to the N and NW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
