What is recorded here

Indicated is a vanished circular enclosure on a north-facing Cork slope, drawn as an eighteen-metre broken line beside a possible ringfort. It may have been a kitchen garden, a byre or a boundary marker for a household that no longer leaves a name behind. The land has been farmed smooth, yet the slight depression and old map line preserve the shape of a life that turned that circle into its own.

In tillage, on N-facing slope. Depicted on 1842 OS 6-inch map as circular area (diam. c. 18m) enclosed by broken line. Site lies c. 50m to NW of possible ringfort (12782).
