Clearance cairns occupy a small triangular field on the lower W slopes of Ballysitteragh, and at the SW edge of one is a broken roof above a narrow drystone passage. It extends roughly 2m to NNE and 1m to SW before collapse blocks the way, measuring only .5m wide and .6m high beneath flat slabs. A smaller .1m opening at the SE edge hints that another chamber may still exist beneath the stones.

The Man-made underground passage situated in rough, rocky pastureland on the lower W slopes of Ballysitteragh is not now accessible. A series of clearance cairns occupies the centre of a small triangular field, and at the SW edge of one of these is an opening in the roof of a small drystone-walled passage which extends c. 2m to NNE and c. 1m to SW before being blocked by collapse; the gap is not sufficient to allow access. The passage measures .5m in width, a maximum of .6m in height and is roofed by flat slabs. At the SE edge of the clearance cairn is a small opening, only .1m in diameter, which may indicate the location of a further passage or chamber. The above description is derived from J.
