Man-made underground passage in Emlaghnaghtan

In the NW quadrant of a rath (SL033-085----). A trench (L 16m SW-NE; Wth 3.7m; D 1.15m), the SW end of which lies close to the inner bank of the rath, may be the remains of a Man-made underground passage. There are low piles of earth and rock debris at the NE end of the trench. There is a local tradition of a 'cave' in the rath.
