Dromavally holds a man-made underground passage beside a ringfort, marking human ingenuity on the Dingle Peninsula. The chamber may have served storage, ritual or refuge, depending on the needs of the people who built it. Its survival depends on protection from development, erosion and forgetting. Visiting Dromavally means witnessing both natural beauty and human history, which is why the area should remain recognized and cared for.

Lisnadromin/Lios na Dromann: Univallate ringfort KE044-016---- is located about 150m W of KE044-017----, on a S facing slope at the foot of the central mountain ridge. The only features visible in the interior are 2 parallel lines of stones which run southwards from the field fence. These define an area 5.5m long x 1.5m wide and could possibly be part of a Man-made underground passage KE044-016001-. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne.
