Man-made underground passage in Carrigrour

On the flat-topped summit of a hillock, which is densely overgrown with gorse bushes, with views to the S over Glengarriff Harbour. An earth-cut chamber is visible through a roughly circular opening (2m E-W; 1.7m N-S; D 1.2m) which has resulted from a collapse of earth. The chamber is inaccessible and it extends to the N and to the S. Another Man-made underground passage (CO090-029----) lies c. 110m to the SSW.
