Man-made underground passage in Bunnamayne

In pasture on top of a broad rise/small, low hill, with a fall of ground to NW, N and E. According to local information, a Man-made underground passage was uncovered at roughly this location on the summit of the rise during ploughing in the 1990’s. The plough dislodged a roof stone, revealing a subterranean chamber with drystone walls and flat roof slabs. It was not explored or reported at the time, and was covered over again.
