Maganey Lower held a rare polygonal cist where an encrusted urn inverted over cremated bones, joining other stone-covered and naked burials in a forgotten cemetery. The 1960 excavation revealed that people had kept returning to this Kildare spot, shaping death into a repeated local practice rather than a single isolated event.
