Burial ground in Lurgoe is a burial ground in Lurgoe, County Tipperary, Ireland. It occupies a dry island surrounded by bog and offers clear views in every direction, although the burial ground itself does not appear at ground level. A rectangular enclosure measuring 20 metres by 22 metres was excavated on the east side of the island. Its inner bank formed a rubble-filled wall faced with limestone boulders and included fragments of rotary querns, pointing to a relatively late date.

On an island of dry land surrounded by bog with good views in all directions. Burial ground not visible at ground level. A rectangular enclosure (diam. 20m x 22m) was excavated on the E side of the island (Ó Floinn 1988, 24-5). The inner enclosing bank consisted of a rubble-filled wall faced with limestone boulders, the wall incorporated fragments of rotary querns suggesting a relatively late date (ibid.). Limited excavation of the interior of the enclosure revealed several extended burials of adults and children orientated E-W placed in unmarked pits which identified this enclosure as a cemetery (ibid.).
