What is recorded here

Lissatunny holds a faded circular rampart twenty-six metres wide on a Galway hillock, marked as a rath before field walls cut through it. That is a small fortress or house ring, not a fairy trick, though locals may have dressed it with fairy tales once people stopped living there. The earth and stone still draw a line across the hill, waiting for boots, rain and memory to finish what they began.

On the summit of a hillock. Very poorly preserved circular enclosure (diam. 26.6m) defined by a bank of earth and stone. A NE-SW running field wall cuts across the monument at WNW and SSE.
