What is recorded here

Lisnacree in County Down holds an ancient rath, a circular earthwork built before Christian times when people still measured power in height and exclusion. The grassy ridge may have shaded a hall, a prison or a childhood garden, yet its true purpose has faded into soil and rain. What remains is a boundary drawn in dirt, waiting for someone to remember why it was built.
