The stone originated from Ballyknock North in County Cork, where it was read as BLATEGSI. It may have been moved to Lismore castle.

An ogham stone from Ballyknock North (CO055-007013-), Co. Cork, which had been read as: BLATEGSI (Barry 1890-91, 527) may have been moved to Lismore castle (WA021-019001-) (Power 1932b, 11).
