What is recorded here

Liskeen is a fading earthen ring in Galway pasture, wide enough to swallow a house but no longer sharp enough to hold one. Cows graze across its scarped edge, indifferent to the shape buried beneath grass. What ever stood inside has returned to soil, leaving only a slight rise and a local name to mark the forgetting.
