What is recorded here

Gallan is a fallen standing stone in Cork bogland, marked by score lines along its length. It resists easy description because it is no longer upright, yet the scores suggest human attention rather than random weathering. The bog has taken the stone from sight and map, leaving only a flat shadow where a marker once stood.
