Structure

A single piece of brushwood (Wth 1.6m; diam. 0.03m) set at an angle in the drain face with evidence of branch trimming. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1993. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
