Structure

A possible post row on two adjacent field surfaces (L 4.9m min.; Wth 0.4m; D 0.2m). The site consists of approximately twelve widely spaced pieces of brushwood orientated approximately NE-SW. They are set at angles ranging from 45-90° with some pieces horizontally set. All the pieces were cut to chisel points. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1994. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
