Structure

A loose arrangement (L 3.58m; Wth 0.92m) of brushwood and two possible pegs on the field surface. The site consists of six widely spaced pieces of light brushwood and two pegs set at 35° and 43°, which were located 1.25m SE of the main concentration. Woodworking was evidenced by a metal-cut chisel point on one of the elements and by a number of machine-damaged toolmarks. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1994. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
