Structure

An irregularly laid deposit of brushwood and roundwood (Wth 4.3m; D 0.12m) evident in a single drain face. There was no clear cohesive structure to the deposit, which was formed of a single layer of material with many of the elements occurring at angles. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1993. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
