Road

The site (Wth 4.88m; D 0.3m) is orientated NW-SE and consists of brushwood, laid 2-3 pieces deep, with occasional twigs in opposing drain faces. The majority of the pieces are longitudinally laid and well dispersed. The site is present in the opposing drain face as a single vertical peg cut to a chisel point. Additional toolmarks and tear marks are noted on the more substantial pieces. Two pieces were identified as hazel and a third piece as alder. The site is in well-humified Sphagnum peat.
